↘ From Joe's Notes

Why this rig, this way.

This tanker pumper has a couple tricks up it's sleeve. Angled rear tailboard for an increased departure angle, electric dump valves with in-cab controls, electric bumper monitor and a dual A+B foam system. This truck has a high level of versatility to meet the demands of dynamic service area.

↘ About the department

A look at who runs the rig.

Medina County ESD #6 covers roughly 500+ sq mi of south-central Texas — the city of Hondo (county seat, ~8,500 residents) plus a broad rural corridor stretching west into ranch and agricultural land toward Yancey. The district sits about 40 miles west of San Antonio along US-90, with terrain that transitions from the Rio Grande Plains in the south to the lower edges of the Edwards Plateau in the north. Brush and ranch calls drive the rural workload; in-town response is anchored at Station 60 on Avenue Y, where Medina County ESD 1 now staffs 24/7 career coverage under an interlocal agreement with ESD 6.
