White Mills VFD runs out of Station 32 on Texas Palmyra Highway, covering portions of Texas, Berlin, Cherry Ridge, and Palmyra townships in Wayne County — rural NEPA country north of Honesdale, along the Lackawaxen River. The department's been running since 1911 and handles both fire and EMS out of the one house, with two ambulances (32-8 and 32-9) alongside the fire apparatus.
The fleet runs engine-supply-tanker for the rural draft work, backed by a mini-pumper for tighter access and grass calls. They lost their tanker in a rollover in December 2025, so this truck slots in as the replacement for that shuttle role — keeping the 2009 KME engine free for first-due structure work while restoring the tanker leg of the shuttle.
We'll send the complete spec — tank, pump, chassis, body, lighting, the works — and Joe will follow up with a same-week call to talk through how it'd change for your station.
